Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want every Kaustubh piece to arrive perfect. If something is not right, this policy explains exactly what we will do.

## Cancellations by you
- You may cancel an order free of charge **before it is dispatched** by calling +91 82914 94636 or emailing connect@kaustubh.shop with your order number.
- Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled, but may be eligible for return as described below.
- Personalised, engraved or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

## Damaged, defective or incorrect items
- Please inspect your order on delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, inform us within **48 hours of delivery** at connect@kaustubh.shop with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging.
- Once verified, we will offer, at your choice, a **replacement at no cost** or a **full refund** including original shipping charges.

## Returns (change of mind)
- Unused items in their original, undamaged Kaustubh packaging may be returned within **7 days of delivery**.
- The following cannot be returned unless damaged or defective: personalised or engraved items, God idols and pooja articles that have been used in ceremony, and items marked "final sale".
- To initiate a return, write to connect@kaustubh.shop with your order number. We will arrange a reverse pickup where serviceable; where reverse pickup is not available, we will guide you on the return shipment. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is borne by the customer.
- Items are inspected on receipt. Refunds are issued for items received in original condition.

## Refund method and timelines
- Approved refunds are initiated within **3 working days** of the returned item passing inspection (or immediately, for pre-dispatch cancellations).
- All refunds are processed through **Razorpay** to your **original payment method** (the same card, UPI ID, wallet or bank account used to pay). Once initiated, refunds typically reflect within **5to7 working days**, depending on your bank or card issuer; some banks may take up to 10 working days.
- We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstance.
